The Big Chill

Educators and professionals are experiencing a “chilling effect” that not only compromises delivery of quality educational practices, but often results in termination of employment. This workshop will engage participants in a review of anti-bias education  goals  and how pursuit of the goals enrich active learning experiences. Participants will reflect upon the need to establish allies with families and professionals to meet the challenge of implementing developmentally appropriate and anti-bias practices in an atmosphere of intimidation.
