Supporting children’s play with various types of materials is a strategy that is evident in any HighScope classroom, but what if we added a diversity and inclusion lens to this strategy? In this session, we will discuss the types of play children engage in and how we can incorporate materials that represent families’ cultures within your infant-toddler and/or preschool classrooms.
