Let's Read! Best New Children's Books on DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), SEL (Social-Emotional Learning), and More!
The relationship between an adult, a child, and a good book creates a safe space and a bond and it fuels a passion for learning and literacy. This presentation for all learning levels will review some of the best new picture books of the year, incorporating read-aloud techniques and strategies. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) titles will receive special emphasis. Other subjects (stories, STEAM, basic concepts) will be covered as well.
