Research shows that planning and recalling with children supports their executive function, problem solving, and critical thinking and reflecting skills. However, how we engage children in conversations about thinking into the future about their plans and recalling back into the past about what they did makes all the difference in their development. Join this session to identify strategies and create sentence starters for engaging children in authentic conversations during planning and recall time.
