HighScope Is for Everyone: Applying HighScope's Research-Based Approach to Kindergarten

This session will provide an overview of the HighScope K–3 curriculum, which recently entered development. Participants will learn about the research informing the development process and our goals while building the HighScope K-3 curriculum. Participants will learn how the HighScope approach supports current kindergarten curricula being used as well as state and national standards. We will discuss opportunities and barriers that exist in the elementary school environment and how HighScope’s continued collaboration with elementary school teachers and school leaders supports the development of a HighScope K-3 curriculum.
