Me to We: Supporting Classroom Community

A classroom community is a place where children feel a sense of belonging and connection to their peers and teachers. Teachers and children work together to create an environment where every member feels welcome, valued and a strong sense of connection to each other. In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of belonging and review High Scope’s teaching strategies for developing a sense of community.
